Tiqets announces nominees for 6th Annual Remarkable Venue Awards

Tiqets have announced the first round of nominees for its Remarkable Venue Awards, which celebrates the best museums and attractions in the UK, US, UAE, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.

Nominees include MoMA, the Tower of London, the Burj Khalifa, Sagrada Familia, Keukenhof, Oceanário de Lisboa, Borghese Gallery, Arc de Triomphe and Schloss Neuschwanstein.

This year, more than 200 nominees are competing to become one of the seven winners in each of the nine countries represented in the Remarkable Venue Awards. The nominees for the first five awards (Most Remarkable Venue, Best Museum, Best Attraction, Best Landmark and Best Onsite Experience) were announced on 1 September 2022. The selection of the nominees in these five categories is based on 1.1 million customer reviews of venues on Tiqets.com.

Applications are still open until 8 September 2022 for the two other award categories, Best Hidden Gem and Most Innovative Venue. These two award categories will be assessed by a panel of industry judges including Arival CEO Douglas Quinby, Viajes National Geographic Web Director Javier Zori, MuseumNext Founder Jim Richardson, and Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions Destination Development Manager Anouk van Eekelen. Nominees for these application-based categories will be announced after the jury assessment later this month. Venues interested in applying for an award can download an application form via this link.

The winners in all seven categories for all nine participating countries will be announced at the end of September.
