VisitAberdeenshire welcomes new travel trade ready businesses

VisitAberdeenshire’s Travel Trade Ready Programme continues to support businesses to work with travel trade intermediaries and attract visitors to the region. The latest masterclass, delivered as part of the programme, brought together businesses from across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to explore opportunities within the sector.

This year’s cohort, including high-end accommodation providers, guides, transport operators and bookable experience providers, came together to explore every aspect of working with the travel trade industry.

The programme has also sparked the development of exciting new products that will enhance the destination’s offering. While businesses from across the region are creating new experiences, several standout city-centre products are already emerging. Visitors will soon be able to enjoy guided nature walking trails along Aberdeen’s coastline, behind-the-scenes tours of the Pittodrie Stadium, home to Aberdeen Football Club, and gain an insight into the world of the Freemasons through experiences that explore the history, architecture and traditions of the brotherhood.

These new products will strengthen both Aberdeen’s city centre offering and the wider Aberdeenshire visitor experience, creating more reasons for visitors to extend their stay and discover different sides of the destination.

Keep an eye on the VisitAberdeenshire Travel Trade newsletter and Travel Trade website to discover the new products and experiences being developed by these suppliers. If you would like to be among the first to hear about these opportunities, please get in touch with Alanna to find out more.
