VisitGuernsey to host the Islands of Guernsey Travel Trade Summit

VisitGuernsey will host the Islands of Guernsey Travel Trade Summit from 18 to 20 May 2026, welcoming off‑island tour operators, carriers and travel trade partners for a three‑day programme focused on business development, collaboration and contracting opportunities.

Designed to strengthen relationships and showcase the breadth of the islands’ tourism offer, the summit will bring together on‑island suppliers alongside UK and international travel trade buyers. The core business day will take place on Tuesday 19 May, featuring pre‑arranged one‑to‑one appointments, destination updates and structured networking opportunities.

Across the event, delegates will gain insight into Guernsey’s travel trade landscape, explore new product developments, and build meaningful, long‑term partnerships. The programme has been structured to support commercially focused conversations, while also allowing participants to experience the destination first‑hand.

Josephine Ferguson, Travel Trade Relationships & Marketing Manager for VisitGuernsey said, “The Travel Trade Summit is a key opportunity to bring our industry partners together in Guernsey, strengthen relationships with off‑island operators and carriers, and create new opportunities. By combining structured business meetings with destination immersion, we aim to support partners in developing compelling, bookable Guernsey product for future seasons featuring the islands’ distinctive heritage, natural beauty, gastronomy and as a picturesque cruise port.

“It’s a great time to programme Guernsey with our new partner British Airways launching their Heathrow route in April and Brittany Ferries strong timetable. There is so much happening in the islands, from a new Michelin‑starred restaurant and Pro Golf Performance Centre, to new hotels due to open. Located in the bay of St Malo and 40 minutes from London, Guernsey delivers a distinctive European-feeling adventure that is close to home.”

Preferential rates are available for travel and accommodation, alongside hosted meals, transport and a familiarisation day featuring island hopping and showcasing new product across the Islands of Guernsey. Full details of the event can be found here.

The summit forms part of VisitGuernsey’s wider strategy to support a year‑round destination with diverse offerings and to encourage collaborative product development across the five islands: Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm and Lihou.
