Vox City Walks has announced its news hop-on hop-off walking tour concept to launch in Liverpool this Summer.
The brand continues its global expansion following the signing of an exclusive partnership with Experience North, an award-wining Destination Management Company in the North of England.
The collaboration will see Liverpool’s newest sightseeing operator open with several guided and self-guided routes, covering the city’s vast selection of visitor hotspots and attractions. Guests may hop off tours at their leisure, to explore Liverpool’s most famous landmarks such as Royal Albert Dock, The Beatles Story, Anfield and Liverpool Cathedral. Carefully curated routes will also take guests to the city’s best hidden-gems, enjoying fascinating storytelling and cultural insights from their local expert as they explore.
All guided and self-guided walking routes will be included in the price of 24, 48 and 72 hour tickets. Customers will enjoy live commentary in English from their local expert, as well as pre-recorded audio commentary in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish, through the Vox City app.
Alex Jacobs, Managing Director of Experience North said, “We are really excited about our partnership with Vox Group and delighted that Liverpool has been chosen in the first wave of cities to be developed on its journey to selecting the right destinations and partners across the globe for its concept. We have a great opportunity to create guided and self-guided itineraries that show off Liverpool’s rich and diverse story, both in the city centre and the outlying suburbs with the aid of state-of-the-art technology.”
Andy Lawrence, Commercial Director of Vox City said, “We are delighted to announce our partnership with the fantastic leading DMC, Experience North, and our continued expansion of Vox City Walks operations across the UK. With their expertise in local tourism services and exceptional
knowledge of Liverpool as a visitor destination, we see them as the perfect partner to bring our
walking tour concept to life, and offer a new sightseeing experience to visitors.”
