The Winter Village will return for its second year at Westfield London with the capital’s newest Winter Igloos taking over the large outdoor event space. The Winter Igloos, in partnership with All Star Lanes are fitted with sheep pelts, blankets and fairy lights to provide the ideal cosy, and safe pod where households will enjoy their own private dining experience.

Guests can enjoy seasonal cocktails, sharing platters and festive menus brought to them exclusively by All Star Lanes. Festive giveaways + entertainment

Each centre will be hosting giveaways of gift cards and presents for visitors to win this December. The local communities have ensured visits to both Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City are safe for everyone.

To boost visitors’ Christmas spirit, both centres’ weekend entertainment includes DJs, choirs, pop-up music performances and special character visits. Disney is also offering a Festive Star Search with Disney Scan – an app that unlocks exclusive retail offers and Disney digital surprises. The tree will be situated on Westfield Square at Westfield London.

Harita Shah, Director of Creative, Media, Communications and Events, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield said, “We’re thrilled to bring the spirit of Christmas to our centres this December. With Christmas set to look a little different, and 2020 being a challenging year for most, we want to create joyful experiences and magical moments whilst supporting important community partners and giving a little back at this time.”

Pivot Kiosk to open at Westfield London

Pivot, founded in 2019 by former architectural student, Alice Moxley, is a jewellery company and social enterprise which empowers people experiencing homelessness to pivot their lives through the creation of jewellery. This creative model is aimed at bringing meaningful employment to those who find it more difficult to access it, resulting in beautiful British made jewellery.

The kiosk will be open at Westfield London during usual trading hours from until 20 December and offering a range of personalised jewellery including earrings, necklaces, glasses chains, brass bookmarks, Christmas decorations and more. Making desks will be available from midday until 8pm where customers can pay for personalised pieces.

Alice Moxley, founder of Pivot said, “We are really excited to be working with Westfield, it’s an incredible opportunity for us as a business and for our makers too and will provide a huge boost to our sales in the final stretch of this year. The pandemic has had a monumental impact on people, businesses, government and charities alike this year. As a social enterprise working with young people experiencing homelessness, we have seen this impact first hand. By working with Westfield we hope to expand our reach, so we help tackle homelessness in the UK by providing more support and employment.”
