Sunset Sessions will launch at Alexandra Palace this summer and will run throughout the season. The series is organised by Wire and Sky. Designed to offer a fresh perspective on the capital, these limited tours take guests 130 metres above London to watch the city transition through golden hour. Every Saturday throughout the summer, just two timed sessions will be available.
Standard tour routes will run as normal, but with timings carefully calibrated to align with the sunset. From 130 metres up, visitors can take in 360-degree views across London as the last daylight hits the capital’s landmarks and the sun drops behind the horizon. During the descent, the city lights begin to turn on against the backdrop of the dusk sky.
The tour concludes at The Rose Window, where guests receive 15 minutes of private access to the Rose Window Balcony. Visitors can enjoy a drink in an exclusive setting while looking out over the evening skyline.
