Royal Collection Trust are currently seeking a Development Events Officer. This is a great opportunity for a passionate applicant to support the development and delivery of a varied portfolio of fundraising and alumni events. Working with a range of team members under the guidance of the Interim Head of Commercial Development, the successful candidate will support the creation of a proof of concept for commercial and exclusive visits for RCT, and deliver the agreed visits.
You would prepare briefing notes for Trustees, the Director of RCT and other staff hosting events and produce evaluations post-event. Your responsibilities also include overseeing the provision of benefits to supporters according to the established guidelines and supplying them with detailed and concise progress reports and evaluations as required.
You will be extremely organised, able to balance competing deadlines in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, familiar with best practice events coordination, and have acute attention to detail. Most importantly, you will be enthusiastic about delivering events and working as part of a tight knit team to deliver on engagement programmes.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivery of relevant parts of the Development Section plan, particularly relating to stewardship, communications and event management.
- Deliver a programme of supporters’ and cultivation events, ensuring that they reflect Royal Collection Trust’s priorities and supporters’ motivations, under the direction of the Interim Head of Commercial Development.
- Prepare briefing notes for Trustees, the Director of RCT and other staff hosting events and produce evaluations post-event.
- Manage, and keep up to date Royal Collection Trust’s contacts database.
- Assist the finance section with the reconciliation and presentation of donated funds.
