Twin Group are recruiting a number of Employment Consultants to join their team on a short-term basis, to support the delivery of the Work & Health Programme Job Entry Targeted Support (WHP JET) scheme.
The JET scheme is in place to assist jobseekers who have been directly affected by COVID-19, with referrals received from local jobcentres in West London, Kent, Essex and East Sussex. The aim of the scheme is to provide tailored training and support with CVs, interview techniques, structured job searches, sector-based work academies and one-to-one support to identify transferable skills the candidate has.
As a WHP JETS Employment Consultant you will be providing advice and support to guide and encourage participants to overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals. This will be mainly delivered remotely via phone, video conference and other digital channels. Employment Consultants will be expected to manage a caseload of participants, supporting their journey to employment, offer advice, create CVs and direction to support participants. The role will also involve re-building participant confidence following a period of unemployment.
Twin Group will provide the necessary training for new Employment Consultants so candidates do not need to be from a recruitment background. The role is home based with occasional travel to sites once restrictions are lifted, and contracts will be for a three-to six-month period with the potential to extend based on referrals and quality of delivery.
