Tour Partner Group are seeking an FIT Operations & Client Relations Executive to join their team and help provide a professional, comprehensive administrative service to travel businesses, creating and organising tailor-made packages for individual travellers to ensure they have the best possible holiday experience in the UK and Ireland. This role is available for the London and/or Dublin office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administration and operation of individual bookings (city packages and car round tours), inserting bookings and dealing with amendments and cancellations
- Ensuring all bookings are inserted accurately, updated and maintained until after departure in Tourplan
- Booking additional services such as entrances and transfers for clients
- Ensuring that agreed margin targets for bookings are met
- Preparing hotel and entrance vouchers and sending them to clients within agreed deadlines
- Finding suitable accommodation in the UK and Ireland within budget for round tour bookings
- Preparing hotel and B&B descriptions by researching all necessary information
- Assisting with preparing costings and quotes for creative and authentic tailor-made holidays around the UK, within an agreed time frame and presentation style
- Offering exceptional service and developing strong relationships with customers around the world, understanding their requirements and matching their expectations, investigating complains and comments from clients
- Developing and supporting specific FIT client relationships as required
- Taking part in the emergency mobile rotation of the FIT department
- Communicating with clients and suppliers on a daily basis
- Assisting with sourcing additional stock from suppliers as required
- Developing and managing operations reports
- Flexibly supporting team members of the same region (and other regions where required)
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of the tourism industry
- Be fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
- Have destination knowledge of the UK and Ireland
- Be able to work to tight deadlines under pressure and finding creative solutions
- Be highly accurate with attention to detail
