Oxford Castle & Prison, part of Continuum Attractions, watches over the dreaming spires of the historic city of Oxford, from the heights of the Saxon St George’s tower to the depths of its 900-year-old Norman crypt. The costumed tour guides lead guests on a 1,000-year journey, telling the history of this ancient site through the stories of the Castle and prison’s most infamous inhabitants, including Empresses, Kings, monks, and prisoners.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing professional to join the team and support the attraction in its strategic priority to drive visitors.
You’ll drive the brand through creative marketing campaigns, customer and market insight and content creation. Leading the brand and marketing for the attraction, ensuring campaigns coincide with guests’ needs, helping generate enquiries, and driving growth and revenue.
This is a stand-alone role at Oxford Castle & Prison. Whilst you will have support from the York Support marketing team, you will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, from social media posts to strategy for Oxford Castle and Prison.
The ability to analyse and interpret trends, manage budgets and measure the cost/benefits of your activities is a must. In addition, you will have strong organisation and planning skills and be able to work at a fast pace, managing multiple projects at the same time.
