Tiqets is one of the fastest-growing tech scale-ups in the Netherlands. To keep it moving fast and making culture more accessible, they are hiring Regional Manager UK & Ireland.

As our Regional Manager for the UK & Ireland, you’ll be driving the commercial performance of all major destinations in the region. You’ll be based in London and will report directly to the Regional Director Northern Europe.

As an energetic and motivated team-player you’ll be responsible for connecting new venues to the instant delivery and mobile ticketing solutions, and improving the quality of Tiqet’s offerings by working closely with the Account and Success Managers and other stakeholders at Tiqets HQ.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong sales background and a passion for tourism.

Key responsibilities:

  • Represent Tiqets throughout the UK (travel across the region is expected)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new partners
  • Offer a consultative approach to position Tiqets as the preferred partner in the culture and attractions online ticketing industry
  • Meet quarterly set acquisition and optimization targets and drive the commercial growth of the region
  • Launch new cities and supply in the region against an ambitious timeline
  • Optimize contracts with partners, negotiate (renegotiate) better contracts and conditions for Tiqets
  • Be a brand ambassador in the local market, build the Tiqets brand and reputation with key local influencers (tourism offices, government, cultural associations, etc) and provide online ticketing expertise to partners
  • Be willing to travel and attend various in-person trade events and missions across Europe, including outside of normal office hours
  • Ensure with your Success Manager and Supply Operations that the supply (content, rates, availability and online visibility) is consistently optimized and competitive on the Tiqets sites to maximize conversion

Key requirements: 

  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and you have a passion for travel
  • 5+ years experience in sales, account management or business development
  • Fluent in English
  • You’re able to interact comfortably with team members from around the world
  • Highly energetic and achievement oriented with a hands-on mentality
  • Self-starter with a great sense of responsibility
  • Results driven with a personal touch
  • Ticketing industry experience is a plus, as is a personal network in tourism
  • Located in the United Kingdom, preferably in London
