Tour Partner Group are seeking a Sales & Product Executive to join the team and help build and manage client relationships and the sales growth of these clients, being the first point of contact for clients and having responsibility for their performance and satisfaction. The role is available for their London and/or Dublin office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding and developing a strong commercial relationship with clients, including the types of tour they prefer, their market position (budget, mid-range, luxury) and the products that are most suitable to maximise sales
- Understanding the market and the competitive landscape and pressures, working with the client to grow their business and Tour Partner Groups’ business with them
- Understanding the clients’ sales cycle to maximise share of the clients’ overall business and hep grow the clients’ overall business
- Meeting clients’ requirements and matching this information with the product database to ensure the best possible itinerary is planned and revenue opportunities are maximised by suggesting additional services
- Creating touring itineraries with clients to gain sales and competitive advantage. This includes preparing itineraries, costing and quotations for groups using Tourplan
- Ensuring price and margin of offer is competitive and profitable, in line with the company’s pricing guidelines
- Following up with clients in a timely manner to convert offers and quotes into profitable sales with client satisfaction
- Liaising with internal teams during and after sales, liaising with clients as appropriate and resolving queries
- Ensuring that client details and effectively recorded in the company CRM and reporting systems
- Meeting the end-to-end needs of clients
- Supporting and operating tours of clients within the portfolio and/or within the client market
- Supporting hotel placement for quotations where necessary
- Ensuring that itinerary checking, documents and operational requirements are delivered directly or in liaison with colleagues
- Supporting 24-hour emergency assistance to customers when required
- To flexibly support team members of the same region (and other regions where required)
The successful candidate will:
- Be fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
- Have strong positive communication skills and empathy
- Have good knowledge of destinations in the UK and Ireland
- Be IT literate with experience of Tourplan
- Be client focused, friendly and diplomatic
- Be creative and able to develop new ideas
- Be commercially aware and able to sustain commercial professional relationships
