As a Tourism Membership Manager, you will manage and build the membership of Cotswolds Tourism to help maximise and support business development, using your networking skills to attract new business and expand the tourism membership.
You will be the driving force behind enhancing tourism offerings and nurturing lasting relationships with local businesses and organizations. Your creative and strategic mindset will allow you to develop innovative tourism initiatives that showcase the unique charm and appeal of the town to visitors from near and far. While investigating all available means of attracting funding towards the development of Cotswolds Tourism, you will help deliver actions set out in the Cotswolds Tourism Destination Management Plan. You will monitor and analyse tourism trends, member feedback, and market insights to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. Make data-driven recommendations to enhance the tourism membership program.
This is a replacement role covering the Cotswolds, famous for quintessentially English market towns and villages built from honey-coloured stone. With a range of gently rolling hills and the largest area of outstanding natural beauty in England making it a perfect base for walking and cycling, you will have this right on your doorstep.
Key skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative tourism initiatives.
- Proficiency in using a range of technology including Microsoft Office Suite, Google.
- Experience of being involved in continuously improving services and developing products to meet customer needs.
- A qualification in your area of expertise or relevant experience in a similar role.
Special conditions:
- There may be a requirement to work at other Publica Group (Support) Ltd and/or client locations to meet the needs of the business.
- You will be expected to work reasonable additional hours in line with the needs of the service.
- Full UK Driving License, ability to travel/ access to a vehicle for work purposes.
