Royal Collection Trust is seeking a Trade Sales & Marketing Officer to join their busy marketing team to promote Royal Collection Trust to the UK travel trade and groups market.
Whether representing the organisation at trade shows, co-ordinating advertising campaigns or creating promotional content, the successful candidate will find new ways to promote the Official Royal Residences, exhibitions and events to these target markets.
The role will assist the Trade Sales and Marketing Manager to explore opportunities for new business, plan and host sales meetings, and manage existing trade partnerships. The role will also support the management of the B2B credit scheme, assist with the development of new products for the groups market and be the key contact for selected member organisations, actively keeping them informed with the latest news. The role will monitor sales and marketing performance across all areas of work, and will collaborate with a range internal colleagues to develop marketing content.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have demonstrable experience in sales and marketing, ideally within the leisure and tourism industry
- Be confident in devising innovative advertising campaigns and promotional content
- Be a natural communicator skilled at developing networks and collaborative working relationships
- Have accurate and compelling writing and proof-reading skills with the ability to prepare materials for difference audience groups, purposes and formats
- Be a self-starter with lots of initiative, highly organised and flexible in your approach, enjoying a fast pace and variety of challenges
- Be able to manage a varied workload to tight deadlines and with multiple stakeholders
- Be strong with numbers and can analyse figures and produce reports at an advanced level
