UKinbound were delighted to welcome the new Tourism Minister Stuart Andrew MP to its stand during leading international travel show, World Travel Market London. The Minister was joined on the UKinbound stand by the new Chair of VisitBritain, Nick de Bois, and WTM Exhibition Director Juliette Losardo.

The Minister took the opportunity to speak with a number of UKinbound members exhibiting on the stand on the challenges and opportunities facing their businesses, and had a productive and insightful discussion with CEO Joss Croft regarding key industry issues including visa accessibility, ID card acceptance, and the revival of tax-free shopping.

As part of the World Travel Market programme, Joss Croft took part in a discussion panel on being agile in a time of crisis, and was featured in the WTM Daily magazine discussing the UK’s recovery.

This year saw UKinbound return to World Travel Market with a full sized stand, following a reduced and virtual presence in 2021 and 2020 respectively due to the pandemic. More than 55 inbound tourism businesses were represented, as well as national tourist boards VisitBritain, VisitScotland and Visit Wales.

UKinbound members interested in exhibiting on the stand in 2023 can contact [email protected] to register their interest.
