TravelMole confirmed as Media Partner for UKinbound Convention

For the very first time, UKinbound and TravelMole have confirmed they will embark on a formal partnership, with the publication becoming the association’s official media partner at its 2021 Annual Convention.

Themed ‘Build Back Better’, the event will take place in Manchester on 16 and 17 September. The partnership will see TravelMole moderate the conference’s panel debate, which will feature senior speakers from ALVA, Marketing Manchester, Scottish Tourism Alliance, Tourism Alliance and UKHospitality; and chair a roundtable discussion of chief executives from UKinbound’s membership.

An array of editorial, branding and social media opportunities have been finalised between the two parties, and these will be rolled out in the coming weeks. TravelMole will also report live from the convention, sharing the latest news, discussions, challenges, and opportunities from the industry.

Joss Croft, CEO, UKinbound said “TravelMole has been a fantastic supporter of UKinbound for many years and we’re delighted to be working with them in a new capacity, as media partner at our Annual Convention.

“Graham McKenzie at TravelMole, and his team have shown a real commitment to showcase the event pre, during and post September, and I am confident this collaboration will aid the success of our Manchester convention.”

Graham McKenzie, director, TravelMole added “We are so pleased to be supporting UKinbound at such a critical stage of the industry’s fight in the current Covid world. The absence of overseas visitors to these shores and the economic and social havoc that is having is a story that needs to be told over and over again and we intend to play our part in doing so. The fact that we have in depth readership in the UK’s main target markets will also be exploited as we emerge from this crisis.”

UKinbound’s Annual Convention will be take place at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester and will focus on supporting the industry as it maps its path to recovery. It includes a two-day programme of topical industry debates, a keynote speaker address, B2B workshops and a themed networking evening. The association is also working in collaboration with Marketing Manchester to offer delegates familiarisation trips, enabling them to experience the city and its diverse tourism offering.

A virtual component has been added to the 2021 agenda. Taking place on Thursday 24 September, delegates will be invited to attend a full day virtual B2B workshop and provided with access to a range of new on-demand webinars.
